The Reckoning is one of the nation's premiere R.E.M. tributes and they are bringing a mid-year performance to City Winery Pittsburgh.  No look-alike stuff here, just an authentic musical experience.  Go back to your college years with their faithful renditions of the music of the greatest alternative band of the 80s and early 90s – the one and only R.E.M.  www.reckoningrem.com 

Celebrating the 80s alternative party band by borrowing their songs and personas is a way of paying back The B-52s for years of pure joy. The Re-52s don't pretend to be an exact copy of The B-52s - that would be impossible. They're capturing a feeling -- a certain spirit that lives in the B-52s' music: a warm inclusiveness, a gleeful insanity, a wild abandon. So that you can share in it, whoever you are or wherever you come from.
