Not Reely Dan, a nine member Steely Dan Tribute Band, began performing in the western Maryland area during the summer of 2017. Formed by Jim Roderick, Tom Harrison, and Mark Gauthier, the group includes some of the region's finest musicians and features exclusively the music of the classic Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band. Band members include Fred Sullivan; lead vocals, Mikayla Dodge; lead and background vocals, Jim Roderick; guitar, Tom Harrison; keyboards, Brian Plitnik; bass, Mark Gauthier; drums, Fred Kesner and Tom Simpson; trumpet, and Rich Norwood; saxophone. NRD prides itself on its meticulous attention to detail in performing the unique style of the music created by Walter Becker and Donald Fagen. Not Reely Dan's repertoire consists of many of the hits from Steely Dan throughout the 70's and 80's and from live shows performed by Steely Dan's current touring band. NRD has performed at Loft129 in Cumberland, MD, Ram's Head in Annapolis, MD, and last year performed to a sold out show at City Winery in Pittsburgh.(opens in a new tab)
