City Winery Pittsburgh presents The Reckoning – The Music of REM live on Friday, December 26th, at 7:30PM!

The Reckoning is the premier band that dedicates its entire set to the catalog of the legendary band, REM.  And it returns to City Winery on December 26, 2025 for its annual holiday show.

The Reckoning always gives its audience an exciting and unparalleled presentation of the music of REM.  In the words of vocalist, Chris Colpo, “We’re not trying to fool anyone into thinking we’re actually REM.  We’re intent on delivering to the audience our vision of the essence of the REM musical experience.”

The members of Reckoning are fans first and foremost, and they approach the REM catalog with respect -- performing the music in a way that captures the vibe of the original records, but with all the spirit and energy of a great live performance.

The Reckoning performs REM favorites that span most of the band’s career – from Boxcars, 1,000,000, Radio Free Europe, to Fall On Me. 

“We’re serious about our love for REM’s music,” says Colpo.  “And we want our audiences to experience this music in a ‘real’ live musical setting.  And our audiences appreciate the way we can deliver high-energy but musically accurate performances.  We work hard to reproduce the recorded versions of the songs and not have it sound clinical.”
